I Have been living in the US for the last 25 years and have developed the appreciation and passion for both Indian and western cultures. I am actively engaged in Indian Festivities organized by the local communities in the DC metro area. I am also an active member of the local Indian Organizations that promote Indian culture and values.

Love to see old Indian movies and enjoy old movie songs that are classics besides Tagore songs, Ghazals, and devotional songs. Gandhi is my favorite movie besides Mughle Azam. For the western movie, I never get tired of watching Shaw Shank Redemption.

Have passion for all types of national & international cuisines including Thai, Arabic, Afghan, Chinese, Indian, Italian, etc. I must admit that Sushi is not my number one choice, although I can deal with it if there is no choice.

Love to play tennis, badminton, table tennis and other sports. Very handy around the house! Enjoy home improvement activities in spare times. I have built decks, finished basements, adding ceiling fans, light fixtures, painting house, gardening, etc. I used to do Yoga and Meditation, trying to get back into these activities.
