Hello, thanks for taking a look at my profile. I am 5'5", have green eyes and brown hair and a slim figure. I am new at this and did not think I would be doing this at this stage in my life but I suppose that is true for many of us here. I am semi-retired and work part time. I enjoy working and being productive, however, I hope at some point to spend my free time traveling and enjoying life in new ventures with someone special.

I really feel meeting a person face-to-face does so much more. Even a telephone conversation is better than looking at pictures and reading profiles; but we are in the technology age after all, ha ha.

I consider myself a confident and an attractive woman. I know where I am in my life and I am comfortable within myself. I am interested in someone who looks into the heart of a person and values the importance of friendship. I am an honest and caring person with a great sense of humor who loves to have fun and I am seeking someone who has similar qualities. I am looking for someone who is comfortable being themselves and sharing their true personality.

I love to travel so it would be great to find someone who shares my interests in common as well as someone who can show me new ventures. I would like someone who enjoys complimenting his companion with thoughtful gestures now and then. I really enjoy handholding and gestures of affection so finding someone who is an affectionate person is very important to me. I also feel it is important to show my special person value, appreciation, and acknowledgement.

I am looking for a good communicator, someone I can consider a friend and confidant. I love good conversations and being able to talk about all kinds of things even if we disagree. I believe that communication and the ability to be yourself is the key to a good friendship.

I enjoy quiet evenings as well as going out occasionally to various functions. I believe that even if we don’t find we share everything in common there’s room to be flexible. Compromise is what makes a relationship interesting and allows you to learn new things about each other.

I like to go wine-tasting occasionally and I really enjoy trips to the coast, music, movies and theater. My interest in music holds a broad scope. I am very youthful spirited. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and can plan activities without the worry of obligations at home.

I am healthy and I take good care of myself. I believe that fitness is an important part of staying active which keeps you living a happier and healthy lifestyle. I am looking for someone who believes in taking pride in their health and appearance without getting caught up in their own vanity.

I love romance and seeing new places. I am very open to trying new things. I have developed a new interest in photography and I am learning gardening as well. So if you’re that someone that knows how to garden we’re off to a fantastic start. I am a novice gardener and eager to learn. =)

I believe a first date should be in a quiet atmosphere where we can get to know one another and have a pleasant conversation. That can mean having coffee or light lunch in a place of mutual choice. I want the person to feel comfortable and be honest about the feelings of our first meeting. There will be no hurt feelings if he thinks he does not want to take it further. I do expect honesty, courtesy, and politeness from the person.
