I have just recently returned to Albuquerque after completing my masters in Social Sciences in Chicago. I hope to return to school for a PhD in the next few years, in the meantime I am a part-time consultant and full-time restaurant manager. I have a passion for knowledge, research, and intellectual pursuits. I have a dark, dry, and sarcastic sense of humor and I listen to a variety of musical genres, including classical, jazz, hip-hop, soul, blues, and 'world.'

Being away from the big city is proving more taxing than I had expected, I'm looking for something (and someone) to bring some more excitement to my life. Any special someone I might find would need to be intelligent, well-read, open-minded, politically conscious, a lover of music and art, able to withstand sarcasm, and an overall fun and interesting person. Mutual physical attraction is also important, after all we are biological beings. Perhaps this is asking too much, perhaps not, we shall see what becomes of it.
