Don't want to go through this adventure called Life, alone. I'd like to find a good woman so I don't wake up in the middle of the night and say, "what's up?" to the other pillow.

I always like doing some kind of working out. At the moment I'm studying Tai Chi (both Sun and Wu styles)I have a dry sense of humor (did stand-up in the comedy clubs of NYC and LA back in the day, and I wrote a book about the experience). I'm even tempered, tolerant about others' views, (politically i'm left of center), prefer weather cold enough to kill the bugs and enough clouds to mute the sun, so if you're a outdoors person (especially in the summer)I may stay home to vacuum or sit on the front steps (out of the sun) and suck on some coffee. I'd rather be sitting in a sidewalk cafe with you in the light rain in Portland or Seattle than go fishing or camping. Divorced after 19 yrs, we're still good friends because we have 2 kids who continually make us crazy. I haven't dated in over 20 years. What kind of woman do I want/need now? Beautiful on the outside as well as inside, thin,athletic or average body type. Gotta have a sense of humor. Can't be type A. (no more walking on eggshells so wifey doesn't explode). Sorry. I'm much more capable to drive us to a wine tasting than to book passage on the QE2 to Europe or fly us to the Riviera. I'm more of a writer-personality, prone to lots of daydreaming. I'd much rather sit on a couch with you, cuddle with you and play with your hair while watching a movie with you, than go fishing and camping. it's hard to walk by you without putting my arms around you.

I like various types including: rock, country, contemporary, and any other type that doesn't interrupt me as I daydream on the way to work.

First date? My favorite date is going to the movies. For me that means a cd player, a cd from Blockbusters, a big bowl of popcorn, and you and me in bed with rum and cokes, or wine, or scotch and water on the rocks, or frozen vodka. Well, that may be pushing it on the first date. Most likely it'll be something like a quiet coffee and lots of talk. Or maybe a walk somewhere. But I like that movie thing.......
