In the past three years I have been on 35 different airplanes, travelled to 10 different countries, and visited over 50 different cities, towns and islands….. I’ve watched a volcano erupt at sunrise, hiked 10km along the Great Wall of China, slept in a Buddhist monastery in the mountains of Burma, and climbed the highest mountain in South East Asia.

As I sit here reflecting back on the best years of my life, I can’t help but think about how great it would be to share my next experiences with somebody who shares my addiction to positivity and passion for living in the moment. I’m hoping this might expand my chances of bumping into her.

Here's a few random things about me... if you can relate to any of it, I'd love to hear from you.

• I live to laugh. Whenever I have five minutes to spare I watch stand-up comedy on YouTube. Russell Peters is the funniest person alive.

• I love spicy food. I eat hot sauce for breakfast.

• Sometimes I read religious books for fun. I’m not religious and I don’t have any interest in displacing any of the faith I have already put into myself into something that may or may not yield any benefits, but I enjoy dissecting the premises behind religious teachings so that I can challenge my own beliefs.

• I choose to be happy every morning. I believe there is always a reason to be positive.

• I was so big when I was born that the nurse came into the room the next day asking for the baby that needed steak for breakfast. I love steak.

• When I was 5-years old I wanted to be Michael Jackson. When I was 12, I wanted to be a professional wrestler. When I was I was 17, I wanted to be a motivational speaker. Now… I just want to travel the world with my life in my backpack.

• My first consistent job was at a gun range, loading clay pigeons onto a trap machine. I was 10.

• I perpetually hyper-analyze everything that crosses my mind. For each thing that comes out of my mouth there are usually ten other thoughts competing for space.

• I am extremely attracted to emotional intelligence and a dedication to self-improvement.

• A couple years ago I spent six months teaching English in Guangzhou, China. I taught 485 students a week in Grades 1, 2, 3 and 5. It was the best and worst experience of my life. I'm not a teacher.

• I shot my first rifle when I was five, I’ve eaten deer over a campfire and some of the best memories of my childhood involve being tied to the back of my dad’s Ford Bronco on a GT Snowracer at 55 km/hr in the snow. Just a bit redneck.

• I have a lot of energy. I am currently becoming addicted to squash and I spend the better part of my weekday evenings beating the crap out of myself in the gym.

• I am hoping to meet someone who eats, drinks, and breathes authenticity. Somebody who is comfortable with who they are, but strives to become a better person.

First we'll make snow angels for two hours, then we'll go ice skating, then we'll eat a whole roll of Tollhouse Cookiedough as fast as we can, and then we'll snuggle.
