Hey, I never claimed to have billions of dollars! Maybe I have collected billions of stamps, or I am a cult leader with billions of followers (Ok, maybe that is physically impossible considering the overall population of the Earth...)

I just returned a few months ago from spending 5 and a half months backpacking through Europe. I usually travel overseas about once a year. I have both Canadian and Irish passports, so I figure that means that I'm required to travel about twice as much as the average person! So far in my adult life I have visited the USA, Mexico, Australia, Ireland, UK, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia (George Bush famously mixed the two countries up when addressing its representative), Poland, Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, and Romania. In the next year I am also planning on visiting the Turks and Caicos (for my friend's wedding), Turkey, and Egypt.

I really have no specific taste in music, as my CD collection clearly represents. I have country music, next to hip hop, next to rock, next to pop, next to the Lion King soundtrack....yes, I said the Lion King! Don't judge me *cowers in the corner*.

I have finished my M.A. Degree in Political Science, and am currently working for Pepsi. Its pretty good money, but I would never be able to do it for the rest of my life. Its mostly just to generate some discretionary income, as well as pay down my university and traveling expenses until I stumble upon a career I love.

Well, for fun I enjoy organizing Coup D'etats in developing countries. Hey, its a much easier pastime than convincing unsuspecting Canadians that I am a Nigerian Prince whom wants to transfer my millions of inheritance dollars into your bank account because my dead father whispered to me in his dying breath that "Canadians are honest people....trust them..." When I grow up, I want to be a firetruck!

I like to do the grouse grind at least once a week during the summer, and swim a few times a week as well. I also play piano, and am a board game addict. Belligerent drunken people fighting over the rules to a childrens' game...what could go wrong? :-) At that point using a small child as a shield can become a useful strategy.

I feel like I am composing my memoirs here, so I will use this opportunity to cease and desist all further descriptions of myself. If you are bored, feel free to message me, since I always love meeting new imaginary friends!

Anything where you can actually talk to the person, and get to know them better. Its also important that whatever venue you choose gives each person a chance to "escape" without it being incredibly awkward. I mean, taking someone on a hike up Garibaldi Mountain might be a fun date, but being 8 hours away from the nearest highway doesn't easily allow for the date to be aborted if your personalities end up clashing, or one of the people turns out to be Clifford Olson in drag!
