Nowadays it seems we sit in front of a computer and search through profiles much like we might browse for books at the book store. We pick age and interest relevant categories, read synopsis from the authors, examine the pictures on the jacket....

All requests to be granted an audience with specific authors must be tastefully submitted in writing. Be advised that while submitting multiple requests all at once is possible, it is generally discouraged due to various copyright infringement rules that may come into play. But, if your own publication survives this same process on the other end and ultimately meets with your targeted authors approval then you just might get the chance to meet them live and in person. From there all ideas regarding notions of coauthoring content for the remaining unwritten chapters in each others books should be discussed. Generally this is necessary to accomplish before any plot lines are allowed to thicken. Also please be advised that suggestions to coauthor a simple one page love scene are generally never tolerated. Many of our male authors often try to ignore this request.

Well, all jesting aside....
I often wonder what happened to the old fashioned love affair? Not a cheating on your spouse affair but a spontaneous journey into the sharing of love and romance with a stranger who tickles your fancy. The point was to experience the state of love.... not assess spousal compatibility and plot lines for the future. It was about loosing track of time in your lovers arms, being silly, feeling free and reveling in the joy of another's attraction to you. I admit that it does generally help to work off of a rough draft or outline but I firmly believe that the ending should never be predetermined and should always come as a surprise!

And now back to our regularly scheduled profile....

OK, here are the bullet points for you...

During my alone time I tend to find myself inwardly focused, pondering the meaning of life and such. I tinker with home projects, spend time with my very cool 12 yo kid, cook, I sing in the shower, dance in the closet, feed my inner geek with hobbies like creating digital art, video, music, pondering inventions that would make life easier. I like to get lost in really good movies including indie, go for walks and exploration rides on the motorcycle, tend to a garden, read books. When I am with my someone special I enjoy sharing good food, good drink, stories about past experiences, hopes and dreams. I like checking out different parts of the city together, getting into nature, communicating, sharing secrets, socializing, cuddling, learning about them, building depth and intimacy. Weekend getaways, Sunday mornings in bed together, cooking for each other....
