A Little About Me ...

I have been legally separated for close to 5 years. Married for 21 years before that. Unfortunately, we just feel out of love. No infidelity on either part.

I have a very good relationship with my ex and we share custody of our two children. A daughter 16 and a son 14. My daughter is thinking about going to Waterloo for computer science next year. My son just started high school.

We decided that since neither one of us was ready to re-marry there was no need to pay laywer fees for a divorce.

I am a software specialist and have been working on fuel cells for the past 10 or 11 years. I do realtime control type work. No database or web stuff. I have also been trying to pick up some iPhone development skills so I can make my fortune on the App Store :-). Look out Steve Jobs and Bill Gates. Just think, you may be able to say "I knew him when ....".

For the first few years after my separation I didn't date at all. Guess I needed some "me time" to deal with things. After that I tried the Eharmony website. I dated a few people but nothing serious. I have recently tried POF but am still looking for that special someone. I guess after being married for so long I am really trying to find the "right woman". Quality not quantity :-).

I have read several good books recently, including "Starting Over", and "If the Buddha Dated". Also, "The Power of Kindness", and "The Four Agreements". All good reads.

I think my "Chemistry Results" and "Relationship Needs" are a pretty good reflection of who I am. I tried to be as honest and spontaneous as possible when answering the questions. If there is anything else you would like to know about me, feel free to ask.
