There's lots of things I enjoy doing, I don't call them hobbies, more like a way of life. I gave up on most of the usual goals, this world won't last long enough for them to matter. That's not to say that I don't care or go through life acting like it's all meaningless, I just have a different idea of what's truly important than most people. Maybe a short term goal, get back into shape! I'm feeling like I spend way too much time in front of a computer & not getting enough exercise, sort of goes with the job, but I am trying to increase my workout time. Anyone want to play some racquetball & help me get back in shape? ;)

I'm not what people expect, & they are almost always pleasantly surprised by what they find when they take the time to talk to me. I will be the first to admit that I tend to be stubborn & opinionated, but I love an intelligent debate & I will respect & listen to someone who can back up their beliefs, even if I don't agree with them.

For the most part, I avoid regular music, especially country & rap, but there are a few bands that I make exceptions for. I will listen to just about anything & you'll never hear me complain about what's playing, but if I'm choosing the playlist it's likely to be electronic music of some sort. I must admit I do find it fascinating that so many women out there seem to like rap/hip-hop music with lyrics that objectify females & reduce them to little more than sexual playtoys to be used & abused.

To those who have pets, yes, I am most definitely an animal person, cats are my favorite, followed by ferrets, but I get along with dogs & just about any other furry critters too.

In the interests of not wasting your time or mine, if you believe that anthropogenic global warming is real, or you voted for the current resident of the White House, we probably shouldn't even be in the same room together.

I think a first date should be something simple, what you do is less important than having time to actually talk & figure out if you might be compatible in any way. Dating is not about the activities you do, it's about who you're with & if you enjoy their company. It's even more important that there's no pressure so you can walk away & be friends if there's no romantic connection.
Let's be realistic, you probably are not going to meet Ms. Right/the Love of Your Life/Perfect Goddess on every online date you arrange, but that doesn't mean you can't still make friends & get to know someone new. Everyone can always use another friend or two!
