Before I begin my profile can I please say that I do not wish for men to contact me who are only hoping for a notch on their bedpost, nor do I wish to get involved in text sex. I am sure there are some sincere men out there and they are the ones I wish to make contact with. Well here goes then - my profile.

I am an independent lady with a good s sense of humour. I am honest , loyal, and trustworthy and looking for the same qualities in other people.I have friends which have been in my life for 30 years and so that says a little bit about me I think.

I work full time in a junior school and love my job but I do try to keep the balance between home and school. I go to work to live NOT live to work.I am solvent and have my own car and house.

I am mom to 2 sons aged 25 and 27. Both sons are supportive of me finding a new partner. A man who understands what family is about would be very important as I would want to include a partners children within my own family too. We cannot change what is past but we can all build on positive things for the future and this would be important to me.

I have been alone now for 8 years and am ready to move on now without taking any baggage with me.I need a person who is a good communicator and not afraid to show their feelings or talk about them.
I am a tactile person when with the right person and would need that element within a relationship with another person. I would like a serious relationship eventually but of course the chemistry has to be right for that to happen.I am still hoping that out there somewhere is a man who wants to be loved and thought about and cared for and who would want me to be number one on his agenda as he would be on mine.I would want to spend time getting to know him - walking hand in hand, travelling and doing the sort of things that build a loving relationship.I would want to get to know his likes and dislikes, his friends and relations and would want the same from him.I want him to be the last person I think about at night and the first thing I think about in the mornings. I enjoy going to the cinema, theatre, musicals,and love dancing - ceroc, salsa, ballroom, disco.I enjoy a wide range of musical styles but particularly classical, soul,jazz, dance music and motown.

I would also enjoy walking hand in hand along deserted beaches, walking in the countryside and any activities which would give me quiet quality time to get to know someone very well.I think that a person is never too old to show affection to someone they care about.

My first date would be a short one - perhaps go for a drink at a pub. If the chemistry was good then the date could be extended so we could go for a walk to get to know each other better. We would have needed to message and talk on the phone before meeting so that we had a good rapport before we met.Knowing what someones voice is like is also important - that way there are no surprises.
