Hi there!

I'd like to say I'm an avid gamer, reader and enjoyer of Anime, but of late I've little time to enjoy my hobbies. I'm sent out of province often, for a few weeks to a couple months at a time, and even when I am actually home I'm usually too busy to get out during the week. Weekends, however, are spent hanging with my friends in Spruce Grove or pretending to be a good son by visiting my parents out near Seba Beach.

As indicated, I don't drink or smoke. I'm sort of the black sheep in that aspect. Only one in my family that doesn't. Never have, hopefully never will. I've nothing against either, it simply isn't my style. I am generally considered to be an overly nice guy (I of course deny this and threaten to commit some sort of horrible, depraved act to prove otherwise!), and probably a bit too layed back for my own good. I am uniquely capable of 'rolling with the punches.'

My favorite novel series is Wheel of Time, and I've always been a heavy reader. In regards to roleplaying games, I'm a bit old fashioned. World of Warcraft is not my style. I prefer the classic tabletops games like Dungeons and Dragons, Alternity, BESM, Shadowrun and many others. I have multiple Warhammer 40K armies although I don't actually play very often thanks to my busy schedule, and am a big fan of Anime. My favorites are probably Full Metal Panic, Full Metal Alchemist (very different shows with painfully similiar names!), Witch Hunter Robin, Last Exile, Kino's Journey, Princess Mononoke, and many other titles.

Much of the next two years(at least until 2011) will be spent out of province, or even country for a large chunk of it. But, it's good pay and great benefits, so I can't rightly complain. Not that I don't, of course, but it's not really heartfelt. Just standard issue b*tching and groaning of the day-to-day sort.

Well what else to say? My favorite season is probably winter. A fresh snow fall can be very beautiful, sure, but it's more so because people wear more clothing in the winter. I'm a bit old fashioned maybe? Kinda uncomfortable with cleavage. Sad huh? Pretty well everyone I know thinks I'm rather odd for reasons like that. Most of the guys get all rev'd up to hit the bar or a strip club on Friday night, and I'm more interested in sitting around shooting the sh*t with friends over coffee, catching a movie, or whatever else we can think of to blow a Friday night.
