Life is best when enjoyed with a good friend. I want to be in a comitted relationship with my best friend. I seem to be most compatible with a person who has been married and has children. Grandchildren are a plus. I have 4 grandchildren under 4 years old. My family is top of my list, right after my relationship with God. I attend Saddleback Christian Church and would like to be with someone who will share my spriritual journey. I like to dance - have spent some time doing ballroom and west coast swing dancing; spend time on the computer working with the stock market; like to hike/walk and spend time outdoors; I spend a lot of time with my family and friends. In the past, I did some sailing in the Florida Keys and viewed life from the back of a motorcycle on short and long distance trips. I am retired so I can have free time when the right opportunity presents itself.

A first date is an opportunity to get to determine whether or not you and your date have potential. So I like to go somehwere that allows for conversation in a relaxing environment. This could be a quiet restaurant where you can share a glass of wine with dinner while you exchange stories. It could be a long walk along the beach or in a park with a stop at a local place for a bite to eat. It should be casual and comfortable.
