Many of my interests are listed above, but I'll expand on a few of them. I love sports, of course...playing and watching. There isn't one sport that I haven't played and wouldn't be up to playing. Joy to play: basketball, baseball, soccer, football. Joy to watch: Cowboys, Rangers, Mavericks. Will Ferrell is a comic god. I especially love the Anchorman. When watching movies I prefer to laugh, but I have fave movies in all sorts of genres. Some of my fave movies: Amelie, Casablanca, Citizen Kane, Back to the Future trilogy, National Lampoon Vacation movies, Pan's Labyrinth, Notebook, Zoolander, Superbad, Howl's Moving Castle, etc. Speaking of which, if you know who Hayao Miyazaki is or have seen one of his movies, extra points for you :)

I'm sure you noticed video games and comics as interests of mine. Yes, I'm into pop culture, but I don't obsess over it. I'm more into the search of a rare game than playing it. Usually the only time I play is with other friends (like real ones that come over!). I don't really buy comics anymore, but I do have a small collection of old comics. I'm into alot of the 80's cartoons/shows like Transformers and Alf. Yes, I'm a big kid, but it's definitely under control. You don't have to be into it, but it's nice if you have an appreciation for it.

I'm always up for an adventure, whether it be in my neighborhood or 400 miles away. New experiences make life exciting. The more the better. I love hitting the trails, going to scenic spots, rock climbing (indoor kind), kayaking, having fun at the beach, Schlitterbahn, etc. Bring it on!

Continuing the theme of being active, I try to exercise daily if I can. I enjoy jogging and shooting hoops/pickup games daily. Every Tuesday and Thursday in my community we also play volleyball which is lots of fun.

I'm currently an insurance agent, and have been working in this industry for 7 years now. I'm looking for some new challenges. I've been planning a career change to something that utilizes my college degree a bit better. I don't think one has to be rich to be content with life. Ultimately to be paid for something one enjoys, there can be no greater satisfaction. Experiences and relationships over material possessions ANYDAY for me.

As a person, I consider myself down-to-earth and pretty humble. I'm respectful of others, and would never hit a lady. I can be serious and I can be silly, but both in moderation. I'm also a really good listener and rather patient. I do have a temper (thanks Dad!), but it's a controlled one and never directed at anyone. Usually only when I do something stupid :)

I'm NOT one of those people who can name hundreds of bands and their songs, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate music. I like music going back from the 50's all the way to today. Put me down for the Beatles, Collective Soul, U2, Michael Jackson, Jimmy Eat World, Hoobastank, Weezer and Snow Patrol. Yeah mostly alternative stuff, sue me. Overall, Alternative/Rock, Oldies, Lite Rock...but I'll listen to whatever's playing. Even Christian and classical (I have to be in the mood though)!
