I play kickball and euchre, but I don't play games when it comes to dating. I'm straight-forward and honest, and if I really like you, I'm not going to wait three days to call.

My favorite things include sleeping in, trying new foods, travel, languages (especially Spanish - I lived in Central America briefly and love to use Spanish when I get the chance!), hanging out with my three older sisters, getting together with friends to play some games and enjoy some drinks, wandering through the city when the weather is nice, reading novels, and hanging out with my little nephew.

I'm a liberal gal seeking the same, though I'm not as far left as some of the people here in San Francisco! I actually do believe that competition breeds innovation and believe in the power of incentives. But, no Republicans please. I like a bit of polite and lively debate now and again, but my ideology is just not compatible with a hardcore conservative.

Favorite TV shows: All time best is Arrested Development, for sure. Also, the Office, 30 Rock, Scrubs, Dexter, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Colbert Report.

Favorite music: Death Cab for Cutie, the Kings of Leon, MGMT, the Beatles, Snow Patrol, Green Day, Weezer, and more.

Choose one: Wine tasting. Appetizers at your favorite restaurant. Happy hour at a dive bar. A walk through the city on a Saturday afternoon. Ice cream, anytime, any place. The botanical gardens at Golden Gate park. Coffee in the Mission. Crepes in the Haight. Meeting up with friends after work. Or just about anything else that you can think of (except no going to the movie theater - it's a terrible first date because you hardly get a chance to talk but you're sitting so close to each other! Awkward.)
