My name's Chris. I am an aspiring musician/actor/playwright/author/inventor.
If I had to pick one it would be rock star
I like to think up new ways to make tomorrow better. I love to write. I like paint ball, laser quest, roller coasters or anything that pulls a good G-force, movies, video games(what guy doesn't), live theatre and philosophy. I am looking forward to really embracing winter this year. Typically I prefer the summer but obviously it's too short. I'd like to do dome snowboarding again (it's been a while). Hopefully I can find someone who knows how to have a good time in the snow. I enjoy anything that involves speed.
I love Music. Back when I was eleven I could play any song I heard on the recorder. Just by ear. I convinced my parents to buy me a drum set for Christmas that year and have been playing ever since. I've played in three bands over eight years, am currently looking to start a new one, and I am slowly in the works of writing an album on my own. One day I aim to learn other instruments, including piano, guitar and violin. I love all kinds of music, depending on the artist I can enjoy every genre out there, but I would have to say Rock music wins over all of them. You can literally fuse any other style of music with rock and it still works.
I want to travel. Anywhere and everywhere. In the eighty years I have left on this planet, I should be able to see the entire world before I die if I leave... tomorrow damn I'd better get packing. I really want to go skydiving. More than once -I want to go as many times as it takes to go with out some guy strapped to your ass. I aim on going to university soon, I just have a few courses to upgrade. When I finally settle down I want to live on a peaceful acreage for part of my life and then retire in a cottage in the swiss alps. A few other goals I have are to get my pilot's license for both planes and helicopters, and start a revolution.
I have two cats and a dog. I love all animals. If you have a cat, a dog, a rabbit (I had two once), an iguana, gecko, or salamander, or even just fish that's awesome.
I am a theatre geek at heart. I was lead in my high school plays for two years straight, and did a few things with the citadel theatre. I haven't done anything in the acting world in a while thought. I still enjoy a good show and I'm stoked the Citadel is doing Sweeny Todd this year!
Recently I've been dipping my toes into the metaphysical universe. I'm learning to step outside myself, there are some pretty cool books out there. I'm certain I am on a path to enlightenment.
On that note my next tattoo is to be a piece of work by my favourite artist, Alex Grey. I just don't know which piece yet and I don't want to rush into anything this time. I'd rather not talk about my first tattoo. If we ever meet, you'll know why I feel this way. Lets just say I was fourteen when I got it and at fourteen a kid isn't going to make the best choice. It felt great though.
