Hello, I'm originally from Venezuela, which means that I'm Hispanic, but wait don't go back on your browser yet (100% legal resident), give me a couple of minutes of your time and let me tell you about me, I'm 50% Hispanic and 50% European, so I guess that would put me under the "Mixed Race" category, but since I was raised in Venezuela I consider myself 100% Hispanic, I think it makes sense.

People that know me would describe me as a serious, honest person, someone they can rely on. I don't take myself too seriously though, it is just that my natural demeanor will make you believe the contrary, once you get to know me it's a different story.

I enjoy the simple things in life, cooking a nice dinner for someone special (I have been told I'm a pretty good cook, you be the judge), going to the movies, trying new restaurants and different kinds of foods (Quick Fact: I never order the same thing twice), running, reading (old stuff from Jules Verne, Tolkien, Walter Scott Thomas, and new stuff from Tom Clancy and Robert Ludlum) and music.

The quirk that I appreciate in others is being positive and not critical of other peoples defects, by that I mean someone who is capable of getting past looks and value a person for what they are. I truly dislike people that feel the need to pick on others defects, also if you are a "glass half empty" type of person I'm not your guy.

One of the things I am most grateful for is my parents and my relationship with all my family. I love them all to death, I wish they could be here with me sharing the greatness of this country. If you are someone who has strong family values I bet we will be the best of friends.

So, here it comes, I'm looking for a woman that is funny, smart, honest, caring, independent, someone who can stand their own ground in a conversation, someone who values family and in the future wants one of their own.

In our first date, hmm, we could go for a walk and if things go right maybe upgrade to drinks and if things are really going well then we could go for dinner. Other things to do, maybe go for a run at a local park or we could come up with something really spontaneous, I'm always open to suggestions.
