Yeah I know it's long, but I'm not generic and the point is to get to know me right? :-)

I'm new to online dating, I was in a long term (6 year) relationship until July. I am an easy to please type of girl, overall very happy, love to laugh. I'm a genuine person w/ good morals & values. I LOVE my job, not quite at my ultimate goal, but well on my way there. Not looking for any handouts or for someone to take care of me, I am able to provide for myself.

What I'm hoping to find: a guy who is honest, without that you have no foundation to build on... a guy who is fun loving- someone who can kick back and have fun, but at the same time knows when to be serious. Ultimately, I want to find a guy to share my life with- someone to come home to, make memories with and build a family with someday. I would love to meet someone that enjoys spending time together, no matter what we're doing- having a lazy night at home, going to a bar, hanging at a friends house, going to a concert/sporting event, spending time w/ family, etc. My FAMILY will always be on the top of my priority list. I would love to travel more before I have kids, so I would like to meet someone that shares that interest. I have my passport- now it needs some stamps. There are also LOTS of places in the US that I would still love to visit. Best vacation spot so far...Cayman Islands!

Normally on weekends you'll find me hanging out w/ family and/or friends. I'm not a big club person, I enjoy having a couple drinks at a bar- but I don't usually close the place down. I would rather get together w/ friends at my house or theirs- just hang out, have dinner, play games, have some drinks. It's also always fun to go bowling, play mini golf or go to the Improv.

Some random facts about me....
I was born and raised in South Florida, yep I'm a true Floridian. I am very close with my parents. They have been HAPPILY married for over 30 years so I have seen first hand what true love is. I'm a hopeless(ful) romantic. I love all kinds of music. If it puts a smile on my face, a tap in my foot or shake in my booty I'll listen (dance) to it. On my I-Pod you will mostly find country, pop/Top 40, rock and a little R&B. I love sitting by the pool or on the beach (sometimes with a cold beer or maybe a frozen girly drink in my hand) I love watching Red Sox games and enjoy Dolphins football. Every now and then I like to get lost in a book. Sometimes I think I may have a minor case of OCD. I also love... Romantic comedies, Laughing, Italian food, Chocolate, Sleeping in on the weekends, Dancing, Taking Pictures, Cooking, Board games, Bingo, my DVR, Singing in my car, Earrings, Getting massages, Dunkin Donuts coffee, wine, Gerbera Daisies, The smell of Downy fabric softener, playing tennis (even though I'm not very good), Brian Regan (comedian), Most movies with John Travolta, Adam Sandler, Tom Hanks, Will Farrell, Vince Vaughn, Meg Ryan and Sandra Bullock.

I dislike... Horror flicks, Fights, Cheaters, Snakes, Heights, Ironing, My thighs, Dark chocolate, Being late, Waiting, MTV reality shows, Lavender scents, when the little thing on the gas pump is broken (ya know what I'm talking about?)


I'm not high maintenance, I think it's a waste of money to get manicures & pedicures every two weeks when I can do it myself. I don't buy designer purses or spend more than $30 for a haircut. That's just NOT me. Don't get me wrong, I like to have nice things, but I also don't want to go into debt over the latest fashion trend. I also try my best to be green & conserve energy, recycle. :-)

Something in a social environment.... maybe start with coffee and go from there.
