I would describe myself as pretty independent. I live alone by choice, but I am not committed to it by any stretch.
I think intimacy is a very important element to being truly happy. It makes sharing that glass of wine so much better.
Aside from wine – which isn’t topmost of my interests - I like to read, listen to audio books, poetry, movies and just about all sorts of music. I try to run outside all year round. I bicycle in the summer. Do some cross country skiing in the winter. I also plan to take up hiking again after a break of quite a few years.
I like laughing to the point of tears and taking the road least travelled. I still watch out for thin ice and avoid it whenever possible.

First date would be an opportunity to go for a bicycle ride or in-line skating
