I am a refugee from the world of high finance until 10 years ago when I founded my own company, which I still own and operate. I am a product of too much education but I try not to let it get in the way of living my life. I love witty conversation and a fine glass of wine perhaps more than any other pastime. The relationship aspect that I would be most interested in finding is simple: intimacy (and no, I'm not referring only to physical intimacy but rather to emotional intimacy where you can feel the connection). I could date someone steadily but honestly, I would prefer a partnership in spirit and in name if that someone special was so inclined.

I work hard but since I run my company, I have a lot of flexibility. I spend a lot of time in Europe, in France specifically. I speak french fluently and if you like to travel, I guarantee that you will see a lot of the world and a lot of the wine country as well.

As to physical traits, I keep myself in good shape, have an athletic build, work out consistently, have blue eyes and no health issues of any consequence.

Lastly, in case you're curious, I do a great deal of public speaking and the photo is of me giving a talk in New Zealand in 2008.

To initially meet, I would be happy with a cup of coffee/tea or a glass of wine. If that goes well, then for a first "real" date, I'm easy and could accommodate most any desire. If you leave it up to me, then I will take you to dinner at an intimate French bistro. We will eat well, drink a very nice wine and have some entertaining conversation, part of which I hope is spent on planning a second date. But whether it works or not, I promise to treat you well and to do my best to see that we both have fun. Alternatively, just to be sure that you're completely comfortable, I'm happy to go to your restaurant of choice too. I'd rather have you relaxed and knowing that all is cool than be in any way uneasy. Deal?
