I am a person who loves learning, so am fairly well educated. I have a lot of enthusiasm and self-motivation, so am never bored. I am looking for someone who has aspirations, dreams and desires to help make a difference in this world.

I am a single parent of one child, who is looking for someone to share life's experiences with. My child is now eleven, and since things have been going well for me, the time seems right to pursue new opportunities.

I have put "dating" on my profile, since I am wanting to meet new people... many of you share common interests! I do, however. wish to find someone who is ultimately interested in a long term relationship. In case you are worried about "excess baggage", I am very fortunate to have none ... get along fine with my ex.

I love to travel not just to see the sights, but also to learn about the different cultures in the world... previous trips include Canada (from sea-to-sea), most of the US (including Hawaii), Barbados, England, Europe (Western), and the South Pacific (Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Cook Islands, Tahiti, Singapore & Malaysia).

I enjoy being outdoors. I love walking on the beach and trying to find the treasures that the ocean has left to discover in the sand. Parksville is a favourite spot. I enjoy camping, and find my background in Scouting comes in handy!

I love to sail, but haven't done too much since I moved to Victoria from Vancouver a number of years ago.

Dogs are very precious to me ....our loving dog passed away last year... maybe you have one? (Sorry cat lovers....I'm allergic to them).

Maybe you have children already? I enjoy a lot of family activities and so am open to someone in similar circumstances. Swimming is a popular activity.

I love lots of types of music ... relaxing with Enya ....reminiscing with Phil Collins ... love MJ (miss him) ... plus the latest tunes on the radio (e.g. 107.6). Also, love reggae and really good dance music!

One of my short-term goals include learning more about managing digital photos (and editing them)!! Other long-terms goals include health care-related research. I like making a contribution to help make this world a better place!

I am focusing on a healthy diet and looking forward to getting back into cycling. Other things I like doing with a special friend include going to an occasional movie, dancing, and getting together with friends ... I enjoy card games too. I have a lot of family support and get along well with my parents, who also live in Victoria.
