I'm sweet and sincere, smart, articulate and witty. I have a great sense of humour and love to laugh. I'm emotional, passionate and deep... if you know anything about a writers soul and her heart, it's everything that drives her. She is me.

I like a huge variety of things (don't underestimate the vastness of this statement... it includes movies, books, music, travel, conversation topics, games, extra curricular activities, adventures, restaurants/food adventures, etc) and live by the motto; "If I don't try it, I'll regret it... so here I go!" -- However, sometimes that can take a bit of coaxing because I tend to be shy and awkward in situations of unfamiliarity.

I'm an advocate for the world around me; the GLBTQ community, feminism, the environment, animal rights. My deepest desire is to leave this world better than the way I found it. This is my ultimate goal/passion/life's work, and every day I work hard at being a footprint in the path of change.

I'm looking for someone who can both stimulate, yet balance me. Someone who can hold her own in a conversation, and won't shy away from a good battle of wits.
You must be compassionate, considerate, honest and genuine.
Hopefully you share similar passions and desires for the world surrounding us, but if not, you understand that it is an enormous part of who I am.
Also, being assertive and confident are definite pluses :)

First dates... I suppose I would likely prefer to be somewhere that I can actually have a conversation. Maybe not dinner, it's too high profile and for all my attempts at being graceful, I'll undoubtedly spill something on myself. Everyone always says "coffee"... cliche as it is, it's a good place to start. I might opt for a caramel latte instead ;)
