Hey!
I'm a graduate student studying the History of Decorative Art and Design. I moved to NYC this summer from Vermont. I'm in love with New York but I don't know how I'll survive a winter without snowboarding. After Graduate School the plan is to go for my PHD...I have many more years of school in my future.
The bar scene is fun when I'm with my friends but definitely not where I want to meet someone. I'm kind of in a transitional point in my life, I've only had long serious relationships but I just want to have fun with someone who is up for going on adventures in this incredible city.
A little bit about me:
I tend to listen to my heart no matter what my head is saying. Word play is my favorite kind of humor and sometimes corny jokes are the funniest. I paint, play guitar badly (just learning) and spend most of my time with my amazing friends. I'm an experimental cook and I always have music on. I sort of binge and purge with music but the ones that always last are: Otis Redding, Beatles, Ryan Adams, Mirah, Oldies (best soundtrack for doing the dishes), Neko Case and The French Kicks covers EP (I could listen to it on repeat forever). I have the 'travel bug' and tend to flee the US every year for a month or so. Gustav Klimt is my all time favorite artist. I read a lot, basically a book a week and I've just gotten into Tom Robbins after reading 'Still Life with Woodpecker'. My favorite indulgence is reading in bed in the morning. I have a photographic memory...which comes in handy studying art. I'm loyal, honest, quirky, independent and basically a good girl with a pinch of a wild side.
I've been pretty unlucky with love this last year so I figured why not try this...even though it kinda weirds me out.

Grab a coffee and walk around Central Park. I'll get us lost within 5 minutes but that's what makes it fun.
