I'm an all-American type guy who is originally from the Midwest although I have lived in S. FL for 41 years. I love boating, warm tropical climes, beautiful beaches, and travel to such locales. I’m also an avid music lover and have broad tastes in music.
I am a very down-to-earth person and I have a reputation for my sense of humor. I love to laugh and have fun.
I’m also quite intelligent if I may say so myself. I’m very logical, and am sometimes called analytical. I am very much a realist.
I have a 15 year old son who is the pride of my life and I am very active with him. So if there are times when I can't go on a date because of an activity with my son and that is going to be a problem for you, please don't contact me. He comes first and always will. This doesn't mean I don't have time or room in my heart for the right person. If you are a parent then I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.

I think a first date should be someplace where the woman knows she's safe since she is meeting a total stranger from the internet. It should also be someplace where we can communicate and get to know each other. It should be an activity that doesn't commit either of us for a long period of time, just in case it doesn't go well. After the initial date then things can become a little less structured as both become more comfortable with each other.
