I am new to the area and looking to have fun. I want to meet someone with a sense of humor, who isn't narcissistic and who is employed ;o) I am originally from Michigan, and I have been living all over the US and the world for the past six years; Maryland is nice, but I have a little bit of the travel bug in me still!

I have a couple of tattoos, but I keep them hidden, since I have to look professional for work. I'd like to get a few more, I think that they are sexy if they are done right. All my tattoos mean something, I chose them wisely...

I was an Arabic translator in the military, and now I do acquisition for the government. I am currently trying to get some friends together for a cruise out of Baltimore, and also a train trip up to NYC, hopefully I can do both before I turn 30!!

Before I joined the army, I was a French teacher for one year. While I thoroughly loved it, I needed to get out and go see more of the world. What can I say, I'm a restless soul ;o)

I am trying to finish my masters degree, that is my main goal right now. Yes, I am extremely ambitious, but in all honesty, I do not seek to impress people, I am merely enjoying my life. I chase fun times, and I am lucky enough right now that I am getting paid to do that. I have been to war, I could care less about what people think. I pay my taxes, go to school, and try to be a decent person.

I enjoy all sorts of activities, from kayaking to photography, and I love meeting people who like to try new things ;o) I am not promiscuous, so if you are stable and semi-normal, let's hang out and have fun!

I did a tour in Iraq, so it takes a lot to get me irked :o) Really, most of the petty things in life people freak out about just don't matter in the long run! AND I HATE DRAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No. More. Drama!!!! I am pretty easy to get along with, and I think I am very low-maintenance also.

I am not looking for an "other" relationship, since I have plenty of self-respect, do NOT CONTACT ME FOR CASUAL SEX!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o) I do not want to be your booty call, FWB, or anything like that- such requests are offensive, NOT flattering :o( I prefer to wait until I am in a committed relationship before I get down and dirty :o)

I find intellect amazingly sexy, that is what gets me going. A man who has an opinion and can defend it, even if he disagrees with me, will definitely earn my respect. Saying nothing but "whatever you want, dear" gets really old, really fast.

For a first date I usually choose going out to dinner someplace quiet, where we can hang out and talk. It doesn't have to be fancy or expensive, just a nice place to hang out and chat, eat yummy food and grab a beer!!! I prefer the pub to the club, I hate crowds but I love foreign food and adult conversation!!!
