Working on my Masters Degree but do enjoy taking breaks from the books! Bellydancer in my spare time. I've danced at several local restaurants as well as Penrod Arts Festival, the Indiana State Fair's International Festival and Pagan Pride Day, to name a few places. I don't do "private dances" (yep, I've been asked), IM (not interested in cybersex) or drive-by romance, not into porn or those who go to "gentlemen's clubs", "gentlemen's" mags - Is it real or is it silicone??

I have a non-compete clause. I don't compete for a man, that competition being with another human or a magazine or film. Please do not contact me if you have a girlfriend and/or living with someone. That should be basic common sense but I need to reiterate that.

Would like to have a lasting LTR with a renaissance man, a gentleman. Museums, symphony, live music, flea markets, ghost hunting, rock hunting, book store browsing, bowling (I can get a strike but in the next instant, I have a....I think it's called...gutter (?) ball.

I play guitar and piano, have my motorcycle endorsement, but no bike. I don't understand the rules of sports, so I'm obviously not a sports junkie. I have pets, cats and a dog.

I published an inspirational book about loss of children, the grieving process and recovery. I have a 'regular' job, in which I am fortunate enough to be home based, and I attend graduate school, finishing my MSW, which will enable me to further my mission on helping those in need and counseling. I love children, and would welcome a partner's kids (humanchildren or furchildren).

I don't believe in a vengeful god. God is too big for one religion. No sexists, haters, or racists, please.

I'm a Reiki Master teacher. I do several forms of energy healing, the Usui traditional, Seichim, Dolphin Trilogy, Tiger Reiki and Colours of Angels.

No hunters. I love animals and do not consider killing to be a sport.

Attracted to intelligence, not necessarily my educational equivalent but someone with whom I can enjoy an intelligent conversation. Attracted to kindness, not arrogance. Mean people suck. No drugs, no smoking. I will have a drink or two but do not imbibe on a daily basis and I do not drink to excess. If you must have alcohol on a daily basis in order to function, or binge drink, please do not contact me. Drugs include pot. I don't smoke it, don't want to be around it, so if you do drugs, please don't contact me.

I enjoy being a woman, appreciate flowers and being treated like a lady. The things your mom taught you, how to be polite, how to treat women? I appreciate those niceties. They are important. I'm a very feminine, sensitive type of lady but not a pushover. I appreciate a romantic, passionate man. Loyalty is important. Trust is important.

I'm a smart chick but things like South Park (I lourve Cartman), The Kitty Cat Dance and The Llama Song or the video where the animated cat does the PBJ & A Baseball Bat song crack me up sooooo thoroughly I will have tears running down my face after I watch it 5x in a row. Simple pleasures and stupid funny stuff rock my world.

I am attracted towards individualists instead of followers. Emotional availability, a great communicator, is a must. I don't do the silent treatment and that is a dealbreaker for me. Communication is very important in a relationship.

I love art, eclectic little communities like Irvington and Nashville, artists colonies, brick streets. I wear my handmade black velvet cloak on ghost walks, of course. I'm a silver girl, lost in a high tech world and wish the world slowed down a bit and allowed people to truly savor life and all of its rich experiences.

I have my own home and am gainfully employed. I am not searching for someone to move in with or for someone to move in with me. I'd like to find The One and one day remarry, but not for years. I'm obviously not interested in a fling. It's not worth my time or the emotional bruises.

I'm allergic to scrapbooking, following the pack, most mainstream boring stuff, and cow sweatshirts. I couldn't tell ya who's on what prime time TV show, as I don't watch it. I do watch a few shows on cable but it's pretty much hit or miss. Not a TV junkie. I have DVDs of Buffie the Vampire Slayer and Xena, Warrior Princess. My superhero alter ego was Wonder Woman when I was a child. I liked Red Sonja too, but Wonder Woman was the best. Guess that makes me more of a DC than Marvel fan although Stan Lee was a hoot.
