Hi, Where does one start when the last time they dated was the last century??? Times have changed...I am looking for the proverbial nice guy who knows how to treat a lady, understands that when I say talk to me, I usually don't mean about sports or politics, and enjoys being with someone they consider special. I would say that I am fairly low key although I do enjoy having a good time, going places and doing things. Its just as enjoyable sometimes to grab a "Happy Meal" at McD's as it is to dress up and hit the town. Hopefully there is someone out there who appreciates both and is willing to let me steal their french fries now and then. I enjoy going places to see and do things, sporting events, camping (although staying in hotels is enjoyable also), traveling and staying home with the right people. I like to cook especially for others who have let me know what they like.I can be witty, slightly (?) sarcastic, and find it often easier to banter over the phone and email till I get to know someone. I have been employed with state government for over 24yrs, and have months of unused time to take advantage of.
Usually people guess my age as several years younger or else they are just lying to me :>) but I'll believe it. I do go to the gym on a fairly regular basis although I have been known to take the trainers cookies and cheesecake to induce an easier workout.
I like country, classic rock and music that you can actually hear and understand the words.

I think to make it easier on both of us, the usual let's meet for coffee or a drink and see how we hit it off is probably best. Its always easier to handle the 20 questions routine in advance via phone or email, than to waste in person time and have it feel like a job interview. If it seems right, let's continue the conversation over a casual low key dinner.
