I've come to the realization that online dating is not what it's cracked up to be. This world is far from perfect and we've all had bumps and bruises which shape us as we find our way. There are a few unique people that come into our lives and share their love. That's the difference between a bad day and an extraordinary experience...a moment that seems to last forever.

In some way, we've all had that life. And for one reason or another it was taken away. So we find ourselves here, on this site, looking for love or so we say. We list our wants, needs, and desires. Yet at the same time we put stipulations on it and we tell ourselves, "If I can just can all these things in a neat little package, my life will be complete." So we pick and choose according to photos and profiles...looking for a perfection that may never come. In the mean time and in between time unrecognized friendship and love passes us by. How do I know this? I know this because I've seen the road signs to love...but only after it was too late. How many times have we said, "I really like you" but to ourselves we say, "Let me hold out just in case something better comes along." In the end we only find defeat...and an empty cold bed.

I've tried to catch the interest of women on this site by "telling my story". I've been honest and up front, hoping to land the "perfect" woman. I've come to realize there's no such thing. When it comes right down to it, all I really want is a woman that is in compliment with me.
