I enjoy reading the NY Times, The New Yorker, doing the crossword puzzles and recently have become obsessed with KenKen. After 2 long marriages, I still desire a long term relationship with an attractive, communicative, loving, compassionate mate with whom to share mutual interests and aspirations. I am generous, open and extremely honest with a great sense of humor. If you can't laugh in this world in which we live, we're all in trouble. I particularly enjoy classical music, the big bands, jazz and just about anything that's not too loud, not too "rap," and with words that I can understand.

I would prefer a first meeting to be for a glass of wine...or whatever...in a quiet atmosphere. Maybe dinner to follow, if that seems appropriate. Of course, this would be preceded by several phone calls to get a sense of the other person and judge the likelihood of a successful personal meeting.
