I've only recently decided to take the advice of others and try the online thing. My goal here is simply to meet people. Get to know some new people and see what can come of it. If I happen to meet "the one", that's great. Well, ok, that's ultimately the goal. I think you've got to kiss a lot of frogs to truly appreciate your prince. I figure it's a numbers game. Most of the people I meet are more than likely not going to be my truly compatible match. But, we can't know that until we meet, right?
What I'm looking for: outgoing and fun are the two biggest characteristics. You've got to be able to make me laugh.
I like being outdoors and spending time with my "son"- who is 4 legged and barks. A lot. I like to learn new things and love being around people who teach by example- not by yelling and belittling.
I want to be with someone who can enjoy a day of driving to see the color of the leaves in the fall. (Motorcycles makes this an even better day!) Someone who understands that it is mandatory to put all other things on hold in order to enjoy the first sunny and warm day of spring. Someone who understands that sometimes a rainy day should be spent with the curtains drawn and the phones turned off.

A girl can never be told too many times that she is pretty. It's good for the ego. (haha) But, it kind of makes you look like a dirtbag who uses sleezy lines to pick up chicks. And honestly, there are bunch of creeps online. I'm not going to meet anyone that I have't taken the time to get to know a little. Last, and certainly most important: be honest about who you are and what you look like. It's not going to work once I find out that you are not at all what you said you were. I've got nothing to hide. I am who I am and am proud to be me. So, I'll tell it to you straight and ask that you do the same.

You can't get to know someone if you can't talk, so going to see a movie is not a good choice.
Meeting for lunch or a drink is optimal. It's a short time span, but it allows the opportunity to get to know each other and decide if we want to meet again- maybe for a longer stretch of time.
If we do decide to meet again, maybe we meet for dinner. Maybe we take the time to be outdoors. If you are super romantic, a picnic is always a crowd pleaser.
