I broke my leg so no pedalling for me this summer. I don't know what it is about June, I broke my shoulder in June too. I've got my whizzer wheelchair so I'm mobile..at least within a 7km radius of home in the West End. I hope you all have a wonderful summer. Think positive thoughts for me!

I'm an outgoing type, full of fun and activity. I love to ride long distances (that's a pedal bike, not the vroom vroom kind of bike). There's a certain zen you reach on a long distance ride especially when you stop for lunch to give the delicate bits a chance to decompress. There was this one radical long weekend in August last summer that saw me do a 25km ride on the Friday, 53km on the Saturday, swim across Alice Lake and back on the Sunday and then walk 15km on the Monday. All of that with a frozen shoulder -- I had ants in my pants There was this thought I had out in the middle of Alice Lake: sure would be nice to have some company in all this fun, I was also tired and needed a tow but I just buckled down and finished the job.

Well the nicer weather is finally here and I'm back on my bike with some regularity. YEE HAW! The Park is getting just a bit too crowded with slowpokes so I'm only riding that in the early mornings or late evenings. Let's go ride a bike!

I am a superb cook -- I can out-Martha Martha -- but I hate to do the dishes. It's a leftover from my childhood, 7 kids, Mom and Dad an every d*mned pot, pan and dish to wash three times a day! I'll do the grocery shopping, cook the dinner and YOU get to do the dishes

As you can see I don't drink, smoke, do drugs or caffienated beverages...I do have a vice or three :) and no, I am not a Mormon. I just happen to be allergic to all of the above. When I was 16 I was allergic to my boyfriend -- he made my knees itch

So, the top five questions for a man?
- Does he like cats and admits it?
- Does he like chocolate and admits it?
- Does he read books for pleasure?
- Does he laugh with abandon?
- Does he have good teeth and see the dentist every six months?
