About me:

I’m a very driven and free thinking individual. I love opera, jazz, big band, all those old fashioned forms of entertainment that are so neglected today. I love a good cigar. (I don’t smoke cigarettes)
There is nothing better than attempting a grand adventure on the spur of the moment. Weather that takes the form of answering the phone and ending up exploring some seedy underground poker room in Toronto or going survival camping in the Algonquin interior what is life without a little excitement now and then. Of course, after working up a good sweat out adventuring one must always celebrate with a fine meal on a patio somewhere complete with copious amounts of wine and good company.
My greatest pet peeve is people who constantly complain. Life is a mixture of good and bad and I believe there is beauty to be found and lessons to be learned in both. It is my firmest belief that wisdom is not to avoid the darkness in life but to learn to take from it the same joy and beauty that we find more easily in the light.

Why I’m here:

I’ve always quite enjoyed meeting new people, clubbing, parties, what have you; however, I’ve found as I’ve enjoyed greater success in my career the late nights and partying really don’t fit with my desired life style. My hope is that this will prove a good place to connect with like minded young people.

Silly things profiles say:

Really? You don’t say. No one likes being toyed with, but does putting this here help? Is someone intent on treating you badly going to see this line and say “Oh no! I better go play mind games with some other girl?”

Well that’s an admirable sentiment but it might help to tell us a little about, oh, I don’t know, who you are.

“No crazies” (Or some variation thereof)
While this is certainly a valid desire it has been my experience that crazy people tend not to notice they’re completely bonkers. Sad but true.

I’m sure I’ll add to this list next time I feel moved by words of awe inspiring inanity.

Oh, I’d love to meet someone I could enjoy romantic dinners, moving theatre, and intense discourse on the meaning of life with, but let’s start with coffee. That way when you disappoint me horribly I can leave to feed my imaginary starving cat.
