So, I crashed and burned recently and it's about time I dusted myself off and got back in the ****pit. (Geeze, they won't let me say ****? ****a-doodle-do! That's poppy****. I need a ****tail now!) But seriously folks, flying solo is fine but it would be nice to have a co-pilot. I am a true gentleman seeking a lady (but not a lady ALL the time) *wink* "Tina, come get some ham!" If you know that movie...we will get along beautifully!

I'll hit you with the bad stuff first. I am recently divorced after 10 years of marriage. Never thought it would happen to me but here I am. I was young and dumb and chose poorly. I married an illegal alien from Mexico and once she got herself established in this country, she said "adios." It was an amicable split and we are still friends. My favorite beer is still Corona :) Fortunately, we never had kids.

In spite of this serious setback, I am still a hopeless romantic. My lady-friends reassure me that I'm a great catch. I work with a lot of women so I think that I am more "tuned in" to females than the average guy...but that doesn't mean I'll hold your purse in the mall :) I do plenty of guy stuff too...I like to work on cars, fix stuff around the house, go shooting, and mow the lawn shirtless from time to time, heh,heh. My house/car are very clean (most of the time)...definitely not a slob!

I am a very health conscious and fitness minded person...I will NEVER have a "gut" ...EVER! Don't get me wrong, we all need a splurge once in a while...I never met a pizza I didn't like. I'm content with the basics, but adventurous dining is high on the list of fun activities. Beer is good too (in a Homer Simpson voice), but I'm always up for trying a new mixed drink. I'm kind of an amateur bartender...love making drinks for people and having backyard parties. Going downtown and hitting the bars/clubs is something I enjoy occasionally...not to get wasted, but mostly to hang with good friends, watch the freaks, and hear energizing music. Music is something I can't live without! My tastes vary...I like a little bit of everything, but love the stuff that gets you pumped up. I sing too.

Like everyone else in the entire universe, I'm "outdoorsy"...not a real word, I'm told. A good bike ride on the greenbelt, hike in the foothills, camping trip w/hotsprings are all things I enjoy. And yes, "au naturel" is the best way to enjoy a hotspring...beach too. My idea of paradise would be lounging around on a remote beach in nothing but sunglasses.

Physical touch and affection are so important to me. (I give a great massage, I'm told.) If we are walking and I am not holding your hand, something is wrong. If we are relaxing on the couch and my arm is not around you, something is wrong. I love a hand on my knee while we're driving.

Well, if I reveal everything, we'll have nothing to talk about when we go out, right? Did I mention I'm a good listener? Hmmm, what else? I've never been arrested, I don't have any unsecured debt, was an Eagle scout, and survived 12 years of Catholic school. I don't have any tattoos, but I think a small tattoo on a girl is sexy (but that depends on the girl)...so are short plaid skirts and boots, dark smokey eyes, painted toenails in cute strappy shoes, and when girls make that adorable lip pucker for a photo....Hey, I know what I like. Um, what was I talking about? I do love girly girls, but you gotta be a little rough & tumble too. Wow, I can really sit at my computer and type for way too long...my eyes are bugging out. For crying out loud, just e-mail me, or poke me, wait.. that's Facebook! (I am on Facebook a lot) *blows you a kiss* Awww, aren't I sweet? ~Mark

After some chatting via e-mail, talking on the phone, etc, we'd meet some place where we can sit face to face and talk, laugh, drink, (coffee, or "adult beverage"...depends on the time of day) flirt, play footsie under the table, :) etc. Then I'd walk you to your car and give you a goodbye hug. No grabbing my ass, ok? (Alright, maybe.)

Sidebar: There's been a little controversy lately as to how much communication is appropriate. I think that when two people are interested in one another and are in that "getting to know you" phase, finding a way to at least touch base once a day is good. I know we're all busy but c'mon, we live in an age of instant communication, so a "hey, how ya doin'" text message is not that hard. A text every hour would be excessive and clingy...just sayin.
