I'm not going to ramble incessantly about my favorite tv shows or music (at least not right now). Would you really choose a partner based on that information? No? Didn't think so. Nor would I.

Am I going to tell you I’m creative, gentle, honest, witty, intelligent, spontaneous, articulate, stay in shape, live a healthy lifestyle, endowed with great genes, love to cook, etc.? Well, isn’t that what we've come to expect to hear from everyone? Perhaps you’ve even mentioned very much the same things, as well, all of which is probably true.

And, by the way, do you love full body massages? Well, so do I, but not until I know you really, REALLY well (perhaps due to my Midwest upbringing. Go Cardinals). Until then, I'll reserve myself for Ursula.

Look, we can't determine very much about an individual by the few words posted on these profiles. How many are embellished? How many are written by individuals far too modest to divulge how wonderful they truly are? What you should know about me right now is this: First, I know that some of the greatest novels ever written were not camouflaged by a deceptively attractive book cover. I prefer reading the story to staring at the artwork on the front, which is contrived to entice a purchase. Second, I'm a real girl (no phoney-baloney, blonde roots or plastic fingernails) looking for a real, SPECIAL guy, who can lay claim to a nicely assorted array of the aforementioned qualities and tickle my funny bone to boot. If you can, drop by and say, “hello”. I’ll be right here, but hopefully not for long. I mean do we really enjoy spending precious time here on these "dating" sites when we could be basking in shared togetherness with an exceptional someone?

One last thing, fellas. It's great to be chosen as one of your favorites, but please, don't stop there. Get in touch. I can't bite you from way over here. REALLY! And besides, I may be even a bit more timid than you with regard to making that initial contact, coming from the "Old School" and all.
