It seem slightly odd to talk about your hobbies 1st so i,m not going to. I'm generally thought of as a decent man who is kind and generous. I believe I have a good sense of humour and am certainly able to laugh about myself. I try not to take life too seriously. I have 3 children of varying ages all of who I see regularly. I have a small circle of friends and family who I see often. I don,t think I've ever had a career goal, i only aim to do the best I can and see what develops. I've been on my own for a while now and feel there is something missing in my personal life and want to try to find someone special to spend time with and then see what develops. Bearing in mind the requirement to set out your interests I've sort of set out my hobbies. You should note that even though I said I like watching sports I don't do so sufficently to subscribe to Sky Sports. I don't watch reality TV programmes or any of the soaps. I read quite abit and tend to alternate between one book of non-fiction and one book of fiction. Every so often I feel the need to "improve" myself by reading a classic work of fiction. I normally read about 50 pages and then give up. I am currently failing to read Nicholas Nickelby. I like music of all sorts but gave up buying it some time ago and tend to listen to it on the radio. I have no taste in music as I was brought up in the 70's

It depends to an extent on where you live, what you like to do and the practicalities of meeting someone on what in effect a blind date. I like to be beside the sea so on an ideal date a walk by the sea or in the country, followed by lunch somewhere sounds good to me
