Hello,
My two boys are the center of my world, and each day with them is an adventure. Family is important to me, as well as hanging out with friends. I'm not a big "bar guy," and I don't go "clubbing." I prefer weekends spent with those I care about. In the evenings, if I have nothing going on and I don't have the boys, you most likely will "find" me riding the Harley.

I love to cook and entertain (football/basketball/dinner parties). I prefer being outdoors and love a good B.S. session over a camp fire.

I used to work for myself as a contractor/carpenter, and I still love to build and fix things around the house. I did close up business and change jobs so I could spend more time at home with my kids, and it was the best thing I could have done. I realized quality of life had to be a priority, and the career change has given me more free time and a "re-discovered" spring in my step. I would just like to have someone walking with me that has that same spring. It has been amazing to watch my boys discover the world, and to be right there by their sides has truly been a blessing(partly as tour guide, partly as a classmate, and very much a co-conspirator).

I do have what those who know me call a quick wit, and a unique sense of humor. I can drift towards sarcastic, but would never use humor to demean another person. I love laughing and comedy (movies, stand-up, or just in conversation), most types of music (sans rap),and anything with a bound cover on it. I am a very outgoing "interactive" person with people I know...but until then can be a bit shy and reserved.

I asked those who know me best to describe me, and this is what they came up with: "Funny, shy, polite, intelligent, well read and well educated (KU and KSU-I can straddle the fence), old fashioned, big hearted, kind, charitable, and, truly eclectic, with incredibly diverse interests." (These three people "emerged from their locked chambers" after only deliberating for 4 1/2 minutes, yet I've watched the same three knuckleheads take three hours to select a movie to rent. I guess I know where their priorities lie. chuckle).

I suppose anything that allows for talking and getting to know one another. Maybe grab some ice cream, find a park with a killer swing set, and talk. Down the road (when both feel comfortable), I would love to take the motorcycle for a run. Hit some small towns and check out the local color. Find some "Mom & Pop" cafe or diner and enjoy some local "flavor." The best way to see the countryside is from the back of a bike, and it's better with a co-pilot.
