I am a 53 year old man who would like to spend time having some fun with someone who would be interested in having dinner out, riding bicycles, watching movies, watching Steeler games, or going to rock concerts. I enjoy wine tastings, restaurants on the South Side, rustic camping, and going to my kids' high school functions. I would probably try anything you like at least once, I'm not a dancer or much of a golfer, but would gladly go for the fun of it.

On a first date, I think it's important to do something where there are enough people around that neither of us feels awkward, yet intimate enough so that we can talk to get to know each other a little. I think a wine tasting date where live music is played would be a great time. A warm day, choose your wine, get a seat on the patio, order some food and listen to the band while we talk, maybe take a walk. How can you top that?
Or, how about a movie date with dinner afterward? I will watch just about any genre, so it is your choice as to the movie. Same with dinner, I am extremely flexible, but will make suggestions; I'm sure we can decide on a place. Top the evening off with some ice cream and a request for a second date.
