Helloooo :) I'm a self-motivated, independent kinda girl. I moved here from Maryland in December 2006 and I came here looking at this as my "do-over." I look at my life here now as my "do over!" I'm living my life, this beautiful new one I've created for myself. I'm happy, and I do things in an effort to make sure that continues :)

I take my health very seriously - I work out six days/week (up at 4:15!) and I try to eat right. It's important to me, and it's important to me that my date gets that (and preferably feels the same way about his own health!), so I'm putting it right out here up front :)

So now that all that serious stuff is taken care of...

I'm not necessarily looking for the love of my life here, but it might be nice if it happens :) I'm definitely looking to meet interesting people that have a desire to seek out what brings them happiness and ignites their passion for life. I'm looking for a friend or more who is active, that doesn't let life just pass them by and 'happen' to them. Someone that enjoys a spontaneous adventure or the need to explore something new. I love to work out, hike, run, go out to eat, go shake my boo-tay, have a drink or two...that kind of thing. The latter only being the occasional fun thing to do, I tend to be much more often drawn to small gatherings with a few close friends or sharing a night in with a good movie is always nice too. Couch snuggling is a plus :)

Lately I've picked up powerlifting. Yes! I love it! Who knew? I move big heavy things around for no apparent reason, and find great joy and personal satisfaction (a bit of a high too, I might add!) in it :)

Caawwwwfeee, or other similar low-key, no pressure, short event :) If we hit it off, the sky's the limit from there, but let's take it slow to start.
