I have a sense of self, a sense of humor, the ability to spend quality time with myself, and the feeling of self-worth and accomplishment. Pretty "self"-centered, huh ? Not really. I have wonderful friends and family. That's a two-way street. I have had many advantages, but have made the time and effort to give back to the world around me. I have an interesting and rewarding career from which I grow and learn. Lucky girl. However, as satisfying as my life is, I still have a few complaints. I would like someone I care for to sit next to me on a chairlift, someone's got to drive the boat while I ski (and vice versa), dancing without a partner is a bummer, I want 2 people in the photo at the top of the Eiffel Tower, those tennis ball launchers do not give compliments when I make a good shot, and I want to hear,"You look beautiful tonight, darling". I think you get it. The guy for me is a great communicator. I just love communicating. I also love animals, but, dogs, in particular, are a big part of my life. So, if you are one of those unfortunate creatures who does not appreciate the love and loyalty of an adorable pet, you are definitely not my guy. I have been involved in animal rights and rescue for many years. I am certified in search & rescue/disaster response (US & Canada), and am a veteran of Katrina. So, don't use the word princess around me, please. My hobbies/interests are all listed on my profile, but let me elaborate a tiny bit before I let you go. I love nice things, nice vacations, nice home, etc., but I am happiest in jeans, am happy to live in a small town, and would love to find a guy who would enjoy a driving trip across the US.
