Ok, wait - would anyone who's looking to make a good first impression on a dating site seriously checkmark "I do drugs"? They'd get points for honesty but you'd have to take a good look at the "smarts" section. LOL So, here we go...

Oy, I hate pictures. Actually, I love pictures but they don't seem to like me. lol I could tell you that I'm laid-back, intelligent, a hard-worker, loving, affectionate, loyal, compassionate, kind, stubborn, goofy, impatient and sometimes irreverent. Ok, so maybe I just did. Anyway, the point is that all of these things were said, but none of them really show you what makes me, me. I think I'm great! I also think I have alot of flaws just like everyone else. I am confident but humble and I love to laugh and am a dork at heart (and I am okay with that). However I do believe in taking care of my responsibilities first so I can enjoy my playtime. Currently, I'm on a self-imposed become-healthy lifestyle change and loving it. I've lost 13 lbs since this pic was taken! Yay me!

I love dogs and have one of my own. He's my 60+ lb puppy-boy who's stronger than he knows. I wonder if he will ever grow up. I kind of hope not.

I am up for a lot of different activities. I could go to the movies one time, hiking the next, and fishing the next, then dancing the next. Whatever we're in the mood for. Don't get me wrong, you couldn't throw me out of an airplane or take me snake wrangling but I like new things, and find comfort in old things. It's the person and relationship that makes the good time.

I am a total NFL freak and watch every game in the regular season and some in the preseason since I am a fantasy team owner and commissioner. I am a Saints fan and I will die a Saints fan. If you like another team, well bless your heart and I will tolerate your blasphemy and pray for you to see the light :)

Religion is important to me; I am a Christian and need to spend my life with the same. I spent way too much time pulling against God in my teens and 20's and have duly learned my lesson at this juncture in my life :) I'd now prefer to have someone in my life who shares my basic values.

I like all kinds of music, from classical to country to rock and roll to old time r&b. Someone's profile said "I know a little about a lot of things" and I think that statement is a great one. I'm a really laid-back, constantly-curious person with a drive for stability and a decent life and I'm looking for someone who can say the same. A fun-loving, responsible guy's guy that knows how to treat a woman without losing his identity too.

It doesn't really matter what we would do on a first date, as long as there was laughter and conversation...I don't believe you can get to know someone at the movies though and that's kind of the point of a first date.
