I am a free loving happy girl. I love to spend days sitting and reading a great book (mystery, romance, sci-fi, etc.) or watching TV but I also love to get out and dance or hang out on a boat or try new things. I am curently working on re-storing/improving my house that I just bought and I'm having a blast doing that.
In terms of my career I am unsure of what the future will bring. I think I want to go back to school and get a masters or a 2nd Bachelors, but I am looking for a job that will cover education benefits.
I think there are many things that make me unique. I am very independant. Also I am a strange mix of easy going and stubborn. I feel like everyone should be free to live their life and not be judged, but at the same time I will firmly put my foot down when what someone is doing in their life effects me. I've created 5-7 year plans for myself, but I am more than willing to change those plans whenever the need arises.
My taste in music is a reflection of my personality in the sense that I love almost everything. My iPod has country, rock, classic rock, rap, hip-hop, easy listening, and more on it. I will say it does throw my for a loop when I put my iPod on random and Frank Sinatra is followed by Eminem and then followed by the Young Dubliner, but it has happened on more than one occation. I would rather be thrown for a loop by the randomess than create a playlist because I never know what mood I will be in to accurately create play lists to listen to in my car.
I will say I am giving this internet dating a try because why not? BUT here's the thing...I am used to dating just evolving. I meet someone and I click with them, so dating evolves from a mutal chemistry that may happen...but if it doesn't happen then maybe I've found a new friend. But the idea of meeting someone knowing that I am potentially looking at dating them is strange to me. I have been rightly acused of looking at this dating thing too many dates down the road.

There are many options for a great first date. Dinner and a movie is not one of them though :). I would say any ammusement/theme park or the zoo would be great. Other options include things like sporting events or bowling; just something that is inter-active and fun. Although meeting for coffee is also good because then money wasn't spent on tickets and it's easier to have an "escape route" should I get the "living in my grandmother's basement collecting toe-nail clippings" vibe....
