I enjoy spending time outside in a park going for a walk, or by the lake grilling some burgers. Maybe we could go for a boat ride when we're done eating. I love all sorts of movies from anime' to science fiction, and everything in between. I don't go for just the "chick flicks", although they have their place in my heart, too. I like to try out new restaurants instead of going to the same one every weekend. That's what I call boring. I don't do it all the time, but I enjoy making jewelry as a hobby and I read a lot. I don't watch much TV, but I do watch it from time to time.

I'm not sure what long term goals I have other than to have a long, happy life, free of angst as much as possible. I'm pretty set career wise, so that's a plus.

I'm not sure how unique I am, but I'm happy to let you decide that for yourself. I am told I look a great deal younger than I am, but you'd have to tell me. I have a quirky sense of humor and not much embarrasses me. I'm more of the independent sort, not really a clinging vine. I don't date much because it's hard to meet anyone, so I thought I'd try here. A friend from work recommended this site. I work hard and I play hard, but I'd much prefer to play. I believe living means having fun as often as possible.

I love most types of music. I'm not really into country, other than the odd song here or there, but some smooth jazz, some blues that make me want to cry, a good hard hitting rock song, a snazzy pop tune with a great beat, or something in the alternative genre, well, that's the ticket for me.

I'd like to go somewhere casual so we can talk and get to know each other. That way we can see if we "click". A movie is not a good first date for this reason. A low-key restaurant or a park bench or something similar would be better. Finding someone I'm comfortable with is key, and therefore, this is the challenge I'm trying to accomplish. Do we laugh at the same jokes? Do we find the same things insane, funny, or both? Do we feel the same way about the important stuff? That's what spending time together simply talking will tell us.
