I'm not into sports. I do like to play horseshoes, pool & bowl.

I like to learn about things and how they work. I am mechanically minded. I like working with my hands. I like to have the right tools for the job I'm doing. I like to do things right the first time, so they don't have to be redone. (I don't believe that applies to my marriage of almost 30 years).

I like books. I collect more than I read. I like 'how to' books. I like science fiction. Robert Heinlein is my favorite author.

I like to play Euchre, Gin Rummy, Rook, Bridge, etc.

I like country music and southern gospel music. Lefty Frizzell is my favorite older country singer. I also like Aaron Tippin, Alan Jackson and Lady Antebullum. I can listen to most music, but rap. I also like ZZ Top & Lynyrd Skynyrd. I also like the Moody Blues. But, I don't like loud music.

I like to paint with acrylics and oil.

I also teach small engine repair.
