Family and good friends are most important to me, but my second greatest joy is going to hear some good tunes, especially if a beer or three is involved. (Life is definitely too short to drink cheap beer!)I have an 8-year old son who is the light of my life, and I also love animals and have a crazy dog. I love watching football (go Dolphins!!) and going to classic car shows. (I'd rather own a '67 GTO than anything made in the last 25 years!) I love to go out and do anything that sounds like it could be fun, but I also like hanging out at home, especially when it's the middle of a long Iowa winter. My friends think I'm funny (not always sure if they're laughing with me or at me, but at least they're laughing!). I am reasonably intelligent and can be sarcastic, but no harm meant. I am mostly successful at keeeping my opinions to myself when I have to. I value honesty and a good sense of humor above just about anything else, but good personal hygiene never hurts! I consider myself to be a very honest, loyal and considerate person, but I am human and so not perfect, but can admit it! As I mentioned, music is a big part of my life. I do consider myself to be a music geek, and I'm definitely the one you want on your team in a trivia contest. I love rock, blues, metal & alt-country (I'll be happy to explain that one!), but not so crazy about country, rap or hip-hop.

I'd be open to trying anything that sounds fun, but drinks or dinner somewhere we could actually talk and be heard might work too.
