I'm new to the area, originally from the other side of the state. I'm interested in finding someone who loves life and lives in the moment.

I am an optimist with a dash of realist who believes that if you want to find someone special, you must be happy with yourself. Being raised to put honesty and loyalty first has given me an advantage to look for the good in people.

I love my job, my friends, and my family. When I'm having a bad day, I just need a while to listen to some of my favorite songs and I'll be back smiling and making jokes in no time! I have a somewhat sarcastic sense of humor. I'm straightforward and blunt, but I'm also the friend who will answer the phone at 4am and listen to a venting session.

I can have fun doing just about anything whether it be sitting around a campfire, attempting to cook something new, watching a corny movie, or going out on the town.

I'm looking for someone who is down to earth, intelligent, goal orientated and thoughtful. Communication is the key to making any relationship work, but allowing each other space to have their own lives is equally important.

My overall outlook on life is that it is too short to get caught up in the petty things and having regrets isn't worth it.

Well it all depends on my mood I guess. Lake Michigan is beautiful and if the moon isn't too bright you can see a bunch of stars. Or if I'm feeling restless, there are some local places to sit down and just talk, maybe have a couple drinks.
