I have two children and we have several family guideline that we try to model our lives. First, there is no reason to lie; Second Do unto others...; Third The Big Ten in Stone; and finally- we live by Honesty-Sincerity- Integrity- Dependability. I am religious and rais my children that way.

There is a philosophy which was written as early as the writings of Aristotle that has had a great influence on how I personally try to live my life. It is the mantra of tabula rasa....”the cleaning of the slate”- it is a thesis that individuals are born without built-in mental content and that their knowledge comes from experience and perception, specifically when it comes to aspects of one's personality, social and emotional behavior and intelligence.

Theory of tabula rasa was developed more clearly and was argued that the "human intellect at birth is rather like a tabula rasa, a “clean slate” and that knowledge is attained through "empirical familiarity with objects in this world from which one abstracts universal concepts" which is developed through a "syllogistic method of reasoning; It is further argued that the intellect itself "possesses levels of development from the material intellect” and that potentiality that can acquire knowledge to the active intellect the state of the human intellect at conjunction with the perfect source of knowledge." Guess, if you think-"say what!"-we are not a match.

I like to apply it to my life as that of...when I meet someone our beginning together either as friends or partners, is from that day forward. The "slate is clean"---> and what matters is how we treat each other from that day onward. There is no drama, no baggage, no skeleton.... that will not someday find its way into the our future for someone to explain.

I entertain alot in my job. NO BIG DEAL.
