I'm loyal, dependable, trustworthy, affectionate, somewhat old fashioned, and an all around good, fun person. I'm primarily a casual person; however, I can put on my sequins and satins when the occasion calls for it. I'm retired and not looking for another job. I'm not wealthy but financially stable. I'm more impressed with a person's personality, character, moral values, and spirituality rather than their position in society and what material things they may possess. I don't play games with peoples head or heart, and don't enjoy arguing or confrontations. I thrive on getting along with others. I do my best to not take people for granted and accept them as they are. If I don't like or appreciate what I see in a person, Im not going to try and change them. That's what makes us all so unique. If the Good Lord wanted us to all be the same, He would have made us that way. My companion and fiance of 10 years died in 2007 and I'm now ready for a special someone to share my life with. I live with my elderly mother who has Parkinson's and spinal stenosis. Though she is still somewhat active, there are many things she is no longer able to do. Therefore, my time away from home is limited right now; my free time is mainly during the day and early evening (until about 10pm). I occasionally am able to get away for one, possibly two nights. Though my heart and emotions may belong to that someone special, right now my first priority is my mother. Should I become envolved in a serious relationship, I expect my "man" to be a one-woman-man because I am a one-man-woman. I may have many male friends, but my heart belongs to only one. Please dont judge me by my looks, there's more to me than meets the eye. I have a variety of interests and enjoy doing many things. Among my most enjoyable interests are camping, fishing, dancing, watching movies, nature, cooking, yard sales/flea markets, arts & crafts, dinner theaters, museums, walks in the park, through the woods or on the beach, and of course shopping. I also enjoy motorcycle riding--I now have my own helmet. The music I enjoy most is easy listening, country, "oldies", southern gospel, soft classical, old time R&B and jazz. I don't like RAP or the modern R&B and some of the modern gospel. I'm a people person who especially loves and gets along well with children and animals.
