Hobbies:

Hunting, fishing, music, poetry, watching it rain, hanging out with friends, playing in the mud, walking in the woods

Music I listen to: Rock, Classic Rock, Metal, Country, Bluegrass, Alt-Country, Punk, Oi, Jazz, Alternative, Contemporary Irish, Classical Irish. Some of my favorite bands are the****ey Rejects, the 4Skins, The Pogues, Flogging Molly, The Dropkick Murphy's, Hatebreed, Fear Factory, Clannad, The Dubliners, Altan, Chet Baker, The Greencards, Kings of Leon, Dead Milkmen, Black Flag, and even more than I can list.

My favorite poet is Sylvia Plath. I own the Bell Jar, Ariel, Colossus. I also enjoy Romantic era poetry such Robert Burns, Emily Bronte, Percy Bysshe Shelley, and Elizabeth Barret Browning.

Goals/Aspirations/Plans for the future:

To grow old and make it to retirement, to have a family someday, to buy my dream house on the river, to spend almost everyday on the water.

Me:

I am who and what I am, and I'll make no apologies for that. I am confident, and aggressive, and yet I'm laid back and relaxed all at the same time. I am fun to be around, I have a pretty good sense of humor, and I believe in fighting for what's mine. In typical Irish fashion I can lose my temper pretty good but I get over it pretty quick. I will drink the occasional pint of good dark brown beer, Smithwick's and Newcastle are my favorites. I have a mother in the mountains of western NC, a father here in coastal SC, and I get mad because I live 12 miles from the Ocean and have to drive 30 minutes to get to a beach. I love the ocean, I love the rivers, and I even love the swamp I live in, despite the mosquito's. I am the owner of a crazy cat who believes in attacking the family cows. While I own my own home, it's on the family farm. If I could, I'd live up on an alpine mountain overlooking a tropical beach, but it doesn't exist, so oh well. While I haven't done it in about 4 years I do love to snow ski. I am divorced, have no children, work a lot, and have a general all around good time. If there is anything else you'd like to know, ask. I say ask because I get tired of sending messages to people and never hearing anything. I'll at least say no thanks if you message me. I haven't had the greatest of luck on the internet.

Go out to get something to eat, go out for a walk in a park, go for a stroll on the beach, get a cup of coffee, go play putt putt. However, absolutely no movies on the first date. First dates are about impressions and getting to know people, and it's hard to get to know someone during a movie.
