Random thoughts for alternative titles included "bull rushes and blue moons""Living my dream" and finally,"I'd like to say I am a renaissance man...If I could spell it"How can a person sum up a life with a couple photos and a few paragraphs. I certainly can't.

In many ways I am exactly what one might expect me to be. I'm watching a lot of football all fall and winter, I love to watch auto racing, especially open wheel (nascar=boring), I enjoy a cold beer or five, chicken wings (no counting,please) and coney dogs.

On the other hand, I can also be a surprise. I love to grill steaks and crab legs. I make quiche for breakfast on the weekends ( real men eat what they like), I pop popcorn in a pan with oil and sit down to watch Dancing with the Stars (for all the wrong reasons!)or The Office. I iron my own shirts, take care of my cats, and an able to enjoy a night at home with a full pack of Twizzlers.

I recently discovered some frighting, if gratifying signs of adulthood in myself. I fufilled a dream by buying six splendidly wild acres, complete with a one acre pond and just bought a scraper to move the dirt(see pics)and plan on building a modest mansion next spring( you have to love someone that owns a toy that big). All potential interior decorators PLEASE apply.

I am especially proud to be smoke free for 3 years as of this writing and hope not to seem insensitive, but I prefer a non-smoker.

Can I still have my male idiotic tendancies? Well sure! Sometimes I eat to much,drive to fast, or mind my pennies to closely. I am discovering adulthood, not chained to it.

What would I do on a first date? Try not to look like an idiot. Try not to get spinach stuck in my teeth, try not to trip over any curb, try not to have my fly undone, try to have something witty and fun to say and do, And last but not least, try to make sure you have a great time.
