For those who are curious, jamais vu is the opposite of deja vu where something seems new to you even though you've seen it before. Have you never read a favorite book so many times that you wish you could forget it completely and read it again for the first time, rediscover what you love about it, fresh and new? If I could live my life where I woke up every morning and the world was completely undiscovered, that, in essence would be ideal. I seek the profound in life, the subtle moments that shift how you view the world, however subtly. Do you remember such times? The summer before you started highschool, the first time you fell in love, staying up all night with a group of friends you might not ever see again... those are the moments I live for. When you experience something and it'll never be the same again. Even when you come back to the same place or meet the same people again, it's different and you can compare how things are now with how they were the first time you experienced them and recognize they are the same and yet.. not.

Beauty is more than in the eye of the beholder for we must use all our senses to recognize beauty. It's in the sound of a breeze blowing through a window and birds chirping happily outside, in the smell of flowers and freshly cut grass, in the touch of soft skin or clean sheets and in the taste of, well, a variety of things. There is so much beauty in this world, how can we all be so angry and jaded?

The world needs more love, and this is as good as any place to help find it I suppose.

An admition on my part: perhaps it is due what I've heard of as the lack of great guys in vancouver and how there are so many more women, but it seems that on here at least women really sell themselves hard. It can be a bit daunting, not knowing whether we can possibly live up to expectations. I'll freely admit that the common male here doesn't exactly try that hard and so it can't really be blamed. But I'm a simple though amazing person, more prone to staying in and catching a great film with a bottle of wine or walking along the sea wall than whisking you off to the Mediterranean. If you can handle unique, simple, beautiful and profound, then don't hesitate to message me! Be forwarned, however. While I am sarcastic and funny (usually in a group setting with others to play off of), I am not a clown nor a comedian and I am not here to amuse you or keep you entertained. I will, however, surprise you and challenge you...

Ok, this is now the second time this has happened to me: I'm blocked from messaging probably 90% of you because i've apparently emailed someone who was looking for an intimate encounter or sex. I don't recall every doing so, as that's not at all what I'm looking for, but it's seemingly happened. So if i've added you as a favorite but haven't messaged, that might be while. You might have to *gasp* break the gender rules and message me first.
