I live downtown and am an avid cyclist so owning a car is totally not worth it. It's usually easier to get most places by bike, bus or by walking. That, and driving makes me ANGRY. My current career goals are to continue working in retail and either manage or own a store in the future. I am currently a part time student at Red River taking retail management courses.

I am not like most men. I'm a little bit "different" (that's the term my friends most often use), which may be a good thing, depending on what you are looking for I guess. I like to play guitar and as a result I appreciate a lot of music. I'm kinda artsie so things like theatre, live music, and movies interest me.

"A man can spend his entire life looking for the most perfect Cherry Blossom, and never find it, and it would not be a life wasted" Not to get too Zen on you, but this is kind of the attitude I am bringing to this dating thing. I am pretty happy the way I am, so I am not that desperate, but I'm the kind of guy that works well in a relationship so as good as I might be now, it might be even better with someone, which is why I am now actively looking to meet girls as opposed to just doing, well, whatever I've been doing.

It would be nice to meet a girl who likes food at least half as much as I do (I mean everybody's gotta eat, right?) and would serve as a good icebreaker. Whether that would involve me cooking (yikes) or breaking open the piggy bank to go to some swanky place or even some undiscovered hole in the wall with some good grub. Walking would be nice. Being able to walk somewhere where there is not that many people around and everything is peacefull, it really gives a good opportunity to communicate, to get a small glimmer of what the person is all about. That being said, I am always down for trying new stuff so if someone had something really cool that they wanted to do, I'm game
